The HiLight has been designed to be sustainable, in both construction and ongoing use. Roof mounted PV’s offset the demand from the grid and power the air-source heat pumps to the highly insulated residences. Together with a host of other features including low energy lighting and controls, water efficient fixtures and onsite grey water recycling ensures the HiLight is a low carbon emission building.

Using the FITWEL rating system the impact upon local communities has been addressed and safe social and nature interaction has been fostered. The EDGE certification reveals how The HiLight will, at a minimum, reduce its energy and water usage by 20% compared to a standard structure. Live well and more sustainably.
